Patient Access

Patient Access is a website that you can access from a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.  You must register for the service at the Practice following the information below.

Patient Access will allow you to book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online.  You will also be able to view your medical record once it has been authorised by your named GP, should you request this.

Please note that any patient who abuses the system may have their access revoked. Furthermore online access to medical records are offered only to persons over the age of 18 years.

To use Patient Access on your mobile device we recommend you download and install the Patient Access App for apple and android devices. The patient access website can be found here.

Step 1

*Proxy access to medical records for looked after patients under 18 years will be assessed on an individual basis.  Where a patient of any age lacks the capacity to make their own decisions certain legal conditions apply which will undergo special consideration by the practice.  The practice reserves the right to withhold proxy access.

Step 2

Bring your completed forms along with proof of your ID and address to the practice. Once this has been completed you will be granted access to booking appointments online and requesting repeat prescriptions.  If you have indicated that you would like to have access to your medical records, your named GP will check your form and review your medical record before granting access.

Step 3

Once you have completed step 2 you will be able to register here on the Patient Access website. This website will give you access to:

1) booking appointments online

2) request repeat prescriptions

3) view your medical record (pending GP authorisation)
